エイボン・プロダクツ株式会社、代表取締役社長CEOのマイケル・アレンは、2013年9月1日付でエドワード・ホール氏がチーフ・オペレーティング・オフィサー（COO）に就任することを発表します。
エドワード・ホール氏は、IBMの海外任務で来日しアジア太平洋地域のファイナンシャル・プランニングを指揮し、IBMのPC部門のLenovoへの売却に携わって以来、10年以上日本でシニア・エギュゼキュティブの職を歴任しています。ゴールドマンサックスジャパンを経て、新生銀行のCFOおよび新生ファイナンシャルの取締役を務め、直近では、日本エイボンの前に日本アムウェイ合同会社のチーフ・ファイナンシャル・オフィサー（CFO）およびチーフ・オペレーティング・オフィサー（COO）を務めました。

Avon Japan Announces Appointment of Chief Operating Officer
Michael Allen, President and CEO of Avon Japan announces the appointment of Edward Hall as the Chief Operating Officer of Avon Products Co. Ltd, effective September 1, 2013.
Mr. Hall has over 10 years Senior Executive experience in Japan after being relocated by IBM Corporation where he ran Asia Pacific financial planning and participated in the sale of the IBM PC Division to Lenovo. Mr. Hall has also held Senior Executive roles at Goldman Sachs before joining Shinsei Bank, where he was Chief Financial Officer and a board member of Shinsei Financial. Most recently before joining Avon, Mr. Hall was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operator Officer at Amway Japan.
"We are committed to growing our business in Japan, and I am pleased to welcome Edward to Avon Japan to lead the operations side of our business and facilitate the foundations for growth" said Allen. "Edward is a seasoned senior executive with a proven track record of implementing best in class practices in banking, consumer products and direct selling. "
Mr. Hall is originally from Boston, Massachusetts in the US. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a Master’s in Business Administration from Duke University.
